This policy explains how CloudCounsel Limited ("CloudCounsel", "we", "us") collects, uses, holds, and discloses your personal information when you visit cloudcounsel.co.nz or contact us, and the cookies this site uses. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.
CloudCounsel Limited is a Salesforce architecture and security consultancy based in Auckland, New Zealand (NZBN 9429 0519 7088 8). For any privacy question, email hello@cloudcounsel.co.nz.
We do not collect special categories of information through this website, and the site has no user accounts, logins, or payments.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. This site uses the following:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors and sessions | Analytics (consent required) | Up to 24 months |
Analytics cookies are set only if you choose to allow analytics. We use Google Consent Mode: before you choose, analytics is denied by default and no analytics cookies are placed. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. The strictly necessary cc_consent cookie stores your preference and does not require consent.
You can change your choice at any time using the control (also in the site footer), or by clearing cookies in your browser.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. They process information only to provide their service to us:
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside New Zealand. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps, consistent with Information Privacy Principle 12, to ensure it is protected by comparable safeguards.
We keep contact-form enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our ongoing relationship, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. We do not keep personal information for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it may lawfully be used.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of anything that is wrong. To make a request, email hello@cloudcounsel.co.nz. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
If you access this site from the European Union or United Kingdom, our cookie consent controls (and the default-denied analytics described above) are intended to meet the consent expectations of the GDPR and ePrivacy rules. You may withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings control.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here.
If you have a privacy question or concern, contact us first at hello@cloudcounsel.co.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
